Create your organization by talking to an assistant
Setting up an organization in Reserving is no longer about filling out a form: you tell an assistant what you offer, and it proposes the complete configuration — schedules, capacities, prices, and booking rules — you review it on a single screen, and your organization is published and ready to receive bookings. This version also adds section-based privacy, bookings on behalf of a member with cash payment, and respect for the cancellation deadline.
What's new in this version
-
Setup with assistant: you tell it what you offer — 'I have a padel club with four courts', 'I teach yoga classes' — and it proposes the complete configuration: day-by-day schedules, capacities, prices, lead time, and booking rules. You review it on a single screen and, with a tap, your organization is published. It works in all 12 app languages, and if you prefer to do it yourself, there is a guided form that leads to the same result.
Before Setting up meant filling out a long form, blindly deciding values like lead time, capacity, or slot duration, and after finishing you still had to configure schedules resource by resource.
Now You explain your business in your own words and receive a complete proposal that you only need to review and approve: resources are born with their schedules, prices, and rules.
-
You can leave the setup halfway and come back whenever you want: when you return, you continue exactly where you left off, with everything you already told.
Before If you closed the app mid-setup, the organization remained unfinished and there was no way to return to it.
Now You stop when it suits you and resume the setup later without repeating anything.
-
Section-based privacy: you decide who sees each piece of your organization's data — address, prices, phone number, or calendar — anyone, only members, or no one. And the public calendar no longer shows the names of who booked.
Before The organization profile was shown the same to everyone, with no way to reserve certain data only for members.
Now You show what you want to show and protect the rest, including the identity of the person booking.
-
The admin can book on behalf of a member from the resource profile, applying their pass or balance, and collect cash from the POS.
Before When someone booked by phone or at the counter, the admin could not register it under that person's name or deduct it from their pass.
Now Bookings made at the counter are recorded under the right person and with their payment method, without separate notes.
-
Complete history for each member, with the payment method for each booking, and custom fields in membership requests.
Before Knowing what a member had booked and paid required checking booking by booking, and sign-up requests only collected basic data.
Now You see all of a member's activity at a glance and request exactly the data your organization needs in the application.
-
The cancellation deadline configured for each resource is respected: if it requires 24 hours' notice, it can no longer be canceled later. The admin can always cancel.
Before The cancellation deadline was announced on the resource profile but not enforced, so a booking could be canceled minutes before it started.
Now The slot is no longer lost at the last minute, and the admin keeps the final say if someone gives notice.
-
Schedules with multiple time slots per day, for those who close at noon, and per-resource choice between booking by slots or by classes with capacity and waiting list.
Before A resource only allowed one opening period per day, which didn't fit organizations that close at noon.
Now Schedules reflect how your organization actually opens, and each resource works as it should.
-
Plus: a News section where you can see what we are publishing, with email notification if you want to know, error messages that make sense, and many stability fixes.
Before There was no place to see what changed in each version, and some errors showed technical codes on screen.
Now You know what each version brings, and when something goes wrong, the app explains it in words.
